In the Netherlands we greeve the loss of way to many lives of people who had no business dieing jet. They were supposed to meet loved ones, holiday destinations filled with new adventures or were on the verge of break throughs in big health issues.
Instead there is a scattered plane leaving loved ones heartbroken and puzzled about how to deal with this unbelievable loss.
My heart goes out to you carrying a whole in yourt heart for the rest of your life. Lost for words.. just loving thoughts and prayers.

Life is what happens to you while you’re busy with other plants
Last year I designed our garden and it was made exactly like I wanted it. The old garden got emptied altogether and in came new gras, new big grey tiles and new plants and trees. The olives, a small apple and orange tree, raspberries and blueberries. And the passion flowers I love so much. Pretty in a modest, unpretentious way.
In the last weeks a big plant grew in the middle of everything I planned and planted so neatly. A friend told me it’s a sunflower but I couldn’t believe it so I let it grow even though it annoyed me and I carefully took out the other weeds.
Today it bloomed; my sunflower. I hate sunflowers even more than daffodils. I dislike their colour, their exuberance and the way they scream for your attention. It shouldn’t be able to earn a place in my organized well balanced garden but it just took his place and therefor attention.
Life now and then hands you situations and people; encounters you didn’t plan or even had wished upon. These moments leave you with a choise that will define you. You are what you choose. In this particular case I leave my annoying big yellow flower bloom. I water it with the rest of my plants and give it the same care. Just to remind me life isn’t always what you plan or plant but it’s always what you plant and sow.
